Over the weekend of September 9-10, cloth dodgeball athletes descended onto the Leduc Recreation Centre for a weekend of intense, but fun, work while attempting to make a Team Canada Cloth squad. Athletes have the chance of making the three squads: Men's, Women's and Mixed. Dodgeball Alberta was thrilled to host athletes from BC, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario, as well as the coaches and assistant coaches from the Mixed and Women's teams and 2 Albertan scouts. Dodgeball Canada will be announcing the selected athletes as early as next week so stay tuned!
Dodgeball Alberta would like to thank the City of Leduc for being incredible hosts and for helping to support the combine.
They would also like to thank the volunteers who came out to help facilitate the event, including Max Cloutier, Paul Laking, Peta Prokopiou, Jessica Jeffreys, Melissa Phavone, Leonard Choi and Jack Phavone.
