Dodgeball Alberta Provincials

Alberta has participated in every Canadian National Dodgeball Championship since the inception of Dodgeball Canada in 2016, sending players from Calgary and Edmonton, and hosting the tournament in Edmonton in 2022. In the early years, teams were selected through tryouts organized by a selection committee. Since 2018, Dodgeball Alberta has hosted the Provincial Championships, which has continued to grow in participation.

With the event being renamed the Dodgeball Canada Club Championships in 2025, Alberta will continue to send teams to this tournament. Additionally, Calgary will host the Dodgeball Canada Club Championships in 2025. In addition to this, Alberta will introduce the Alberta Competitive Program, which will establish one Men’s and one Women’s teams to compete in the Dodgeball Canada National Championships, held bi-annually starting in the fall of 2025
