Alberta Dodgeball Events

Dodgeball Alberta is teaming up with Kids Up Front to bring you Dodgeball 101 - an initiative designed to introduce kids from ages 7-17 to the fun, fast-paced world of dodgeball and help grow the sport across Alberta!

We are still accepting volunteers for these events.

Volunteer Roles include:

Setting up and packing down
Reffing games
Retrieving balls
Leading drills & teaching the basics
Helping with admin (waivers, snacks, etc.)

What You'll Get:

An honorarium
The chance to be part of an awesome community event

FREE Dodgeball Reffing Clinic

DATE: Sunday, November 2nd, 2025

TIME: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

VENUE: Ecole Pere Kenneth Kearns (EPKK), 8 Sandpiper Drive, Sherwood Park, AB

DETAILS: Join us for Dodgeball Alberta’s first official reffing clinic, led by Jack Phavone.

This session will focus on the WDBF foam ruleset and is a great opportunity for referees to:

Gain rule clarifications
Learn proper court positioning
Improve conflict resolution and communication skills
Receive live, in-game feedback

Whether you're a new or experienced referee, this clinic will help sharpen your skills and boost your confidence on the court.
