Honouring Our Volunteers: The Alberta Dodgeball Community Behind the 2025 Dodgeball Canada Club Championships

Since it's National Volunteer Week, we want to take a moment to highlight the incredible volunteers from the Alberta dodgeball community—especially those from Calgary and Edmonton—who helped make the 2025 Dodgeball Canada Club Championships such a tremendous success.

Behind every thrilling match and seamless transition was a dedicated team of volunteers whose hard work and passion brought this national event to life.

From early morning court setup to late-night takedown, our volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes. They updated scores, kept matches running smoothly as court marshals, helped run the beer garden, supported the Youth Drop-in, and stepped up for countless last-minute tasks. Whether on the floor, behind the scenes, or running between venues, their impact was felt in every corner of the tournament.
