SYLVAN LAKE (February 2, 2024) - The 2024 Alberta Provincial Dodgeball Championships have been set on March 16-17, 2024 at the Multi Campus Facility in Sylvan Lake, AB. This is the first time that Alberta's top tournament will take place in Sylvan Lake and the Dodgeball Alberta board is thrilled to bring the sport to more communities in Alberta.
"The main pillar of Dodgeball Alberta's mandate is to introduce the sport of dodgeball to as many communities as we can and this high-level tournament will give Sylvan Lake residents a chance to see what the sport is all about," noted Dodgeball Alberta president Erica Spitzmacher.
Spectators are welcome to come and watch this free event. Teams will take part from over the province with most teams coming from Edmonton and Calgary, however, the tournament has an open format and any group that is able to field a team can register through the Dodgeball Alberta website. Round robin games will take place on Saturday, March 16th with the playoffs to follow the morning of Sunday, March 17th.
